Jondog’s Notebook: Guide to IHSA playoffs for Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area girls basketball teams

The road to Redbird Arena begins soon for IHSA girls basketball and the brackets for all four classes are in place. 

Central Illinois has been exceptionally strong in girls hoops this year, with 19 out of the 31 teams in the CSM coverage area finishing the regular season above .500. Nine of those teams are either ranked or receiving votes in the latest AP statewide poll, including Peoria Notre Dame sitting on the throne of Class 2A at the moment.
