Tuesday was an exciting day of action across multiple sports in Central Illinois, as the regular season in girls soccer continued to wind down with a few big matches, including wins from Morton and Pekin.
Normal West and IVC softball won via walkoffs, Brimfield/Elmwood’s Drew Kieser threw a no-hitter and 13 area teams won via shutouts, including Washington over Dunlap in baseball.
Conference meets for the Heart of Illinois, Illini Prairie and Sangamo conferences were held and Dunlap girls lacrosse used a balanced effort to win.
