There were lots of storylines on a packed Wednesday of high school sports in Central Illinois.

Three no-hitters were thrown in baseball, as one helped a team end a losing streak and another came in matchup between two of the best small school teams in the area. Normal U-High’s baseball and softball teams toppled two of the top teams in the area, respectively.

The Mid-Illini race became incredibly close again after Washington and East Peoria prevailed in high-level matchups and six other baseball games were decided by two runs or less. Illini Bluffs won a premier area softball game while Metamora took a doubleheader victory.

The Mid-Illini Conference Meet in girls track was also a headliner, as Dunlap pulled out a victory against strong competition.

Check out all of the scores, top performances, and recaps below in The Roundup!
