In rocket launches, there are no do-overs. The spaceship either reaches its outer-atmospheric destination, or the mission is a failure.
Luckily for Jeff Schmider’s Limestone squad, revamping a football program in the Mid-Illini conference isn’t much like a rocket launch – it usually takes more than one try to finish with a successful mission.
After an 0-9 campaign in his first season at the helm, Schmider believes an older and more developed Rockets squad will lead to a smoother ride in year two.
