2025 Volleyball Preview: Hometown native Miller looking to lay foundation in first year at Canton

CANTON — Canton volleyball often finds itself on the short end of the stick in the highly-competitive Mid-Illini conference, but the Little Giants are measuring their success in more than just wins and losses.
That’s the message from first-year head coach Cassidy Miller, a Canton native who has a longtime bond with her highly-athletic senior class. The only way that the Little Giants can go is up and it’s a mindset that is getting the team excited about what could unfold this year and in the future.
Canton returns several key players to the lineup, including seniors Emma Turner, Makaylynne Correa, Averi Smith, Grace Spencer and Aliyah Weis, that give the team strong leadership on the court.
