2026 Volleyball Preview: El Paso-Gridley relying on strong middle presence

EL PASO — El Paso-Gridley volleyball is hungry to make a deep run in the postseason again.
The Titans went to state in 2024 and graduated many starters from that squad the following season. Now, several players that helped EPG replenish with a 23-win season last year are looking to take a step further in 2026.
El Paso-Gridley has a few players left over from that state run, including middle Jaida Reed and defensive specialist Alexis Elliott, that will be key presences for the Titans. They headline two strong position groups for the team with middle Morgan Patten and defensive specialist Paige Kelsey joining them as seniors.
