2026 Volleyball Preview: IVC brings strong hitting squad as Kluge takes reins

CHILLICOTHE - Ashley Kluge is a new head coach this season, but is already familiar with the IVC volleyball roster.
Last season, the IVC grad coached the Grey Ghosts’ sophomore team and has moved up to take over as the varsity head coach after Elizabeth Persinger left to take Peoria Christian’s head coaching position.
The Grey Ghosts’ returning players say the transition has been smooth because they already know her and are looking to build off a 25-12 campaign where they fell to Peoria Notre Dame in the Class 2A regional finals.
