All three phases coming together for Morton in search of first outright Mid-Illini title
MORTON — The Morton Potters are making a statement.
In a game that many looked at as the potential game of the year, and a game that could decide the Mid-Illini Conference title, Morton walked into Pekin’s Memorial Stadium on Pekin’s homecoming weekend and took home a dominant 42-13 win over the Dragons on Oct. 9.
The Potters have torn through the Mid-Illini up to this point with all of their conference wins coming by 22 or more points and are in pole position to win their first outright Mid-Illini title in conference history.
