Chemistry, state heartbreak fueling PND girls soccer’s undefeated run

PEORIA — A 1-0 loss in the final minutes of a Class 2A State Semifinal last spring lit a fire under the Peoria Notre Dame girls soccer team. 


Just over halfway through their 2025 campaign, the Irish still haven’t suffered the same fate and appear poised to write another historic chapter.


“A lot of it is just the work that we put in in the preseason,” junior Abigail Chaddock said. “And then just how last season ended, too. we're pretty motivated.”
