CSM Baseball Power Rankings, May 25, 2026: Familiar faces end on top, movement among Mid-Illini teams before playoffs

A two-month flurry of a baseball regular season has come to a close and the second season, as many call it, is all that’s left. Regional quarterfinals begin on Monday and by the time Saturday rolls around, several teams in Central Illinois will be holding up regional plaques.
The final Clutch Sports Media baseball power rankings of the season are led by Normal Community and Tremont, two 30-win teams that spent plenty of time this season near the top. Four Mid-Illini squads found themselves moving either up or down from last week’s rankings and yet another new team wriggled its way into the small school top five for the first time this season.
Check out how the best baseball teams in the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area stack up below in the latest CSM power rankings below. Teams in the Mid-Illini and the Big 12 are part of the large school rankings while area schools from any other conference are in the small school rankings.
