CSM Boys Basketball Power Rankings: Dec. 15, 2025: Peoria High, Dee-Mack heat up during frigid week

One can make the case that the six-plus inches of snow dumped on Central Illinois was the biggest winner of the week in high school hoops, forcing the cancellations and postponements of many anticipated games in the area.
Because of the reduced number of games played, there weren’t as many shake-ups in the CSM Boys Basketball Power Rankings of teams in and around Peoria and Bloomington/Normal as there typically would be early in the season.
However, some squads still saw positive results, including Peoria High and Elmwood, who both elevated their position compared to last week. Metamora and Dee-Mack joined the top-five fray in their respective rankings.
