He’s back: Cranford making Metamora more dangerous after six-TD outburst

METAMORA — After missing two games with an injury, Jaiduan Cranford returned to the field Friday night and reminded everyone why he’s one of the most dangerous players in Central Illinois. 


The Northern Illinois commit ran for six touchdowns, including five in the first half, as Metamora rolled to a 63–20 away win over East Peoria. His massive game came at an opportune time, helping the red-hot Redbirds extend their winning streak to five straight games and improve to 7–1.


Cranford’s contributions were much-needed in a game that resembled a track meet in the first quarter and a half. And the senior veteran didn’t waste any time either.
