Morton, BCC move up in Illinois media state rankings prior to Week 9
With one game left in the regular season, 11 high school football teams around the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area are ranked or received votes in the Illinois media state rankings.
Morton and Bloomington Central Catholic were the only local teams to move up while the other nine either remained in the same spot they were last week, or moved down.
The final state rankings of the season will release next week after the regular season concludes and could feature some shake-up in the wake of big Week 9 matchups across the state, including Loyola Academy and Chicago Mt. Carmel, Normal Community and Normal West, Prospect and Hersey and Mt. Sterling Brown County and Hardin Calhoun.
