The Big 12 will see some new faces dominating in softball this season after 17 all-conference selections from 2023 graduated, but most Peoria and Bloomington/Normal-area teams boast multiple underclassmen that will help make the conference’s future bright.

Normal is the place to be, with Normal Community and Normal West looking to defend their spots atop the Big 12 but Bloomington’s star power will help the Purple Raiders jockey for a title. Peoria Notre Dame and Richwoods will look to make the most out of having young cores while still remaining competitive. Elsewhere in the conference, Danville stands out with 2023 Big 12 Player of the Year Kaleah Bellik back for her junior year.

Below, we take a look at the top returners, breakout candidates, and games to watch for each team in the Big 12 Conference. Schools are listed alphabetically.
