Sometimes seven innings just isn’t enough and Thursday was proof of that as four baseball games pitting local teams against each other went to extra innings.
Dunlap head coach Eric Stone reached a significant career milestone as the Eagles, Metamora, IVC and Dee-Mack won in both baseball and softball. Among the day’s biggest soccer highlights were Normal Community and Normal West winning nail-biting games.
