The Roundup, April 15 2025: Dunlap, Bloomington among multiple walk-off winners, PND, Morton stay hot in girls soccer

One of the most loaded days of the spring season in Central Illinois prep sports fittingly served up plenty of great games, including four baseball and softball games decided on walk-off hits.
Dunlap and Bloomington earned walk-off victories over formidable foes while Fieldcrest and Heyworth did the same in baseball. Mid-Illini softball teams played another round of conference games while Farmington baseball’s Landon Crawford had a day for the ages.
Girls soccer powers Peoria Notre Dame, Morton and Normal U-High were all in action, Washington boys lacrosse won a rivalry matchup, three boys tennis teams won convincingly and and many track and field teams competed at midweek meets.
