More weather problems arose on Friday, but it didn’t stop most of the action from happening, including Metamora, Farmington and Dunlap picking up baseball wins in Tennessee and Wisconsin, and Washington and Normal U-High getting it done against area competition.
In softball, East Peoria split their two-game slate while Pekin, Normal U-High and Brimfield picked up important early season wins. And in the only girls soccer match of the day, Canton edged past Olympia for their third win of the season.
