A loaded day on the Central Illinois high school sports slate saw several tight finishes and great performances in several sports.
Normal Community and Dunlap clashed in a big boys soccer game that ended in a draw while Bloomington and Normal U-High won their second game in as many days.
Peoria Christian was the lone school to win in volleyball and soccer while Metamora, IVC and Tri-Valley each chalked up big wins. Morton’s and Dunlap’s boys and girls golf teams had an impressive day in the opening season for Mid-Illini’s conference matchups and BCC cross country and several area tennis teams were winners.
