The Friday before Christmas featured a number of high-level hoops matchups across Central Illinois.
In boys basketball, East Peoria, Metamora and Fieldcrest picked up notable conference wins while Normal U-High and Peoria Notre Dame both went to overtime in nail-biting games. Girls basketball featured Metamora, Eureka and Heyworth winning in holiday tournaments, plus a signature HOIC victory from Dee-Mack.
