The Roundup, Dec. 4, 2024: Canton falls to 2A power in double OT, East Peoria girls and Elmwood boys stay hot

A windy night in Central Illinois blew in some wins for a few area basketball teams in non-conference play. 

Girls hoops saw most of the action with East Peoria, Farmington and Princeville all winning and Elmwood boys basketball won its home opener behind a well-balanced attack. A high-profile game between Canton and PORTA girls went to double overtime as well.
