Many of Central Illinois’ best girls basketball players did what they do best on Thursday: score heaps of points.
Fieldcrest’s Macy Gochanour, Heyworth’s Karissa Cook, Washington’s Avery Tibbs, Olympia’s Lucy Prestegaard and Peoria Heights’ Sylvia Thornton all scored 24 points or more with many of them leading their squads to wins. Eureka, IVC and Roanoke-Benson also picked up W’s too.
Mid-Illini matches began in boys and girls wrestling while Farmington and Tremont also picked up wins on the mats.
