The Roundup, Oct. 28, 2026: Four Class 1A teams win in regional volleyball, PND wins in sectional soccer
A Wednesday featuring only playoff bouts saw no shortage of triumph and heartbreak.
Regional volleyball saw many seasons come to a close but with every season closed, someone else's season lived on. Through the carnage, Tremont and Dee-Mack came out on top and will face each other on Thursday while Brimfield, Heyworth, and Illini Bluffs also moved on.
In boys soccer regionals, Peoria Notre Dame won a narrow matchup while Dunlap's season ended earlier than many expected.
