The Roundup, Oct. 6, 2025: State tickets punched for area golfers, Limestone and Illini Bluffs stay unbeaten in volleyball

Four area golf teams will compete for the biggest prize after earning trips to state on Monday. Normal U-High’s boys and girls teams, Washington’s boys team and Tri-Valley’s girls team all were among the top three in their respective sectionals on Monday. 24 individual golfers around the area will compete this weekend too.
Limestone, Illini Bluffs and Bloomington Central Catholic headlined several of the teams that were victorious in volleyball and Peoria Notre Dame and Peoria Christian won big soccer matches.
