2025 Football Preview: Canton continuing to lay down groundwork, heighten expectations 

CANTON —  It’s no secret what Canton is up against in the Mid-Illini, but the Little Giants have plenty of reasons to believe that they can take a step up in 2025.

For one, head coach Nick McCormick enters his second season leading the team and has had a full year under his belt of working with the players in the program. He’s helped keep numbers at a healthy level too.

From freshmen to seniors, the Little Giants have approximately 75 players suiting up this fall. 

“There’s been a big difference being here for a full year,” McCormick said.
