2026 Football Preview: New era at IVC has Grey Ghosts optimistic

CHILLICOTHE — 2026 is a rare year of transition for IVC football.


Program-stalwart Tim Heinz retired this past school year after 21 years at the helm of the Grey Ghosts, and Cameron Bailliez has come in to take over a program that has not seen a winning season since having 10 wins in 2019.


“Definitely improving on the previous few years is a big [goal for us],” Bailliez said. I think setting a big standard is the biggest thing for me. Tim Heinz has been there forever, he’s a great guy, and I just do things a little bit different.


“We have different standards, and I think making sure that we understand how I want to do things is the big thing right now.”
