2026 Football Preview: Sophomore QB Noy looking to lead new-look Farmington squad

FARMINGTON — On paper, it may look like the cupboard is much more bare for Farmington than it has been in years past. 

The Farmers graduated nine starters on defense and over half of their starters on offense, including Clutch Sports Media’s 2025 Football Player of the Year Jack Gronewold and the rest of a deep core at receiver and in the secondary.

But the cupboard is never truly bare for the reigning LincolnLand Large Conference champions, who have won 25 straight conference games dating back to 2022 and advanced to the Class 2A quarterfinals in three out of the past five seasons. 

“What we’re looking forward to most this season is new faces,” Farmington assistant coach Robert Reeder, who primarily coaches the offensive line, said. “There’s a lot of positivity. These seniors have worked really hard.”
