2026 Volleyball Preview: Brimfield looks to build on previous success

BRIMFIELD – Brimfield volleyball has made it to the sectional semifinals twice in a row, and this year, the Indians look to advance even further.
Going into their fifth season under head coach McKenna Bennett, the Indians bring back a large group of returners, including a loaded senior class containing all-state honoree Anja Nelson and Jovi Chastain and some talented juniors like Reese Legaspi to round out the lineup.
They will also have a chance to compete for the Inter-County Athletic Conference title after finishing third last season, but that’s just step one for a team who believes they’re capable of a lot more.
