2026 Volleyball Preview: Roanoke-Benson looks to regroup with young squad

ROANOKE — While Roanoke-Benson’s roster featured more losses than wins in 2025, the Rockets’ revamped roster looks to be the upgrade they needed.
Outside of a few seniors, Roanoke-Benson is very young and comes in with a lot to prove, but the Rockets are determined to build a reputable name for themselves. The team’s veterans have taken its younger players under their wing over a summer in which they played strong competition in the ICC Summer League.
In that process, they’ve discovered their strong defensive and scrappy identity and are motivated to punch above their weight in the Tri-County Conference.
