CSM Girls Basketball Power Rankings: Dec. 15, 2025: Big 12, HOIC feature three teams with little movement seen

Most of Central Illinois’ top girls basketball teams’ spots in the weekly CSM Power Rankings can be compared to driveways following last weekend’s snow storm: frozen. 


Powers such as Washington, Illini Bluffs and Peoria Notre Dame kept chugging along in the second week of December with many still hanging on to undefeated or nearly-undefeated records. Conference play will begin to heat up soon though, which will provide a clearer look at how the area’s wealth of talent stacks up.


Speaking of conferences, the Big 12 and Heart of Illinois are well-represented in CSM’s latest rankings of the top teams in and around the Peoria and Bloomington/Normal area with three teams from each conference. Mid-Illini powers Washington and Morton remain well-entrenched in the large school rankings until further notice.
