Irish take No. 1 spot, Washington, Illini Bluffs move up in Jan. 31 AP statewide poll

Peoria Notre Dame girls basketball is back into the No. 1 spot in the Associated Press Class 2A girls poll, making the Irish the only team in the area ranked tops in their class. Five other teams were ranked in the top three of their class and 18 teams area teams in total received at least one vote in the Jan. 31 AP statewide poll.
