Limestone’s Lamberti sisters enjoying final high school season playing together

MORTON — Three good touches is all Limestone needed.

Two sets of intense, high-level volleyball could determine who the top team is for the time being in the rugged Mid-Illini Conference. In the moment, the Rockets were a point away from handing Morton its first loss of the season, 

One last name helped seal the deal: Lamberti.

Sophomore Coco Lamberti dug out a Morton attack for senior setter Bryn Williamson to handle. From there, senior Mia Lamberti finished the match off with a kill to put the final touch on a 25-23, 25-20 victory over the Potters.

The win marked what promises to be a core memory for the Lamberti sisters, who are in their second and final season as high school teammates.
