Moeller, Sawyer inspiring the future for East Peoria girls hoops in senior season

EAST PEORIA – Kylie Moeller has plenty of motivation to play as hard as possible this season. 

It’s evident when she’s on the court. The East Peoria senior guard is frequently seen facilitating fast breaks, driving to the hoop and crashing the glass with intent every time a shot goes up. 

There are plenty of reasons why Moeller has had her foot on the gas this season. She leads a Raiders team that’s aiming to increase its win total for the second straight year and escape the bottom of the Mid-Illini. Alongside senior sidekick Sidney Sawyer, they’re also hoping to leave a legacy for future Raiders to follow.
