Eleven area football teams included in Oct. 2 AP statewide poll

Nine area teams were ranked or received votes in the AP statewide rankings released on Oct. 2, with Class 2A No. 2 Farmington earning the highest designation among any of them.

Clutch Sports Media's Jonathan Michel is an AP voter, while CSM co-founder Joey Wright votes on behalf of The News-Gazette in Champaign.
