NORMAL — Off to one of the strongest starts in recent program history, the Normal Community volleyball team is showing its ready to compete with anyone in the state.
After a postseason run last fall that included winning a Class 4A regional title, the Iron have carried that momentum into 2025, stacking wins and building confidence each week. Their 21-4 record reflects a group that's become a team that opponents circle on the calendar and is both resilient and balanced.
It’s the kind of early success head coach Christine Konopasek hoped for, fueled by a culture that combines responsibility with unity.
