It’s already been a memorable year for girls basketball around Peoria and Bloomington/Normal.
There’s been record-breaking seasons accomplished before the postseason has even started, dozens of players reaching 1,000 career points (and some even reaching 2,000) and 25 of the 38 teams in the Clutch Sports Media coverage area have had .500 seasons or better.
After three months of the season and roughly 30 games for each team, there are answers to several burning questions before the postseason.
Some, such as the biggest surprise team and freshman with the biggest impact, have come to the light during the regular season. Other questions about teams in the postseason will be answered shortly, although they are intriguing to forecast.
