Another huge Saturday of high school sports in the area saw many teams in action.
Washington won in baseball, softball and girls soccer while BCC, Brimfield/Elmwood, Dunlap and Eureka won in baseball and softball. Peoria Notre Dame’s softball tournament featured plenty of local participants, as did Metamora’s Margie Wright Showcase.
Peoria Notre Dame and Morton both won big in soccer and a full day of track included Metamora, Eureka, El Paso-Gridley and Henry/Midland winning meets. Dunlap girls lacrosse kept rolling and Metamora and Dunlap both had strong days in boys tennis.
