Metamora’s dual match with LaSalle-Peru in girls golf was the lone area event with available scores on Friday. Boys and girls golf teams, plus football and girls tennis teams will continue to get in the swing of things within the coming week.

At Metamora: Metamora took down LaSalle-Peru 174-192 in a season-opening dual match at Metamora Fields Golf Club with Redbirds junior Addie Mitchell taking medalist honors with a 39. Gillian Tyra chipped in a 42 in the winning effort and Piper Crispen (46) and Natalie Zimmerman (47) rounded out the victory.
