The Roundup, Dec. 1, 2025: Doe siblings have big night for Brimfield hoops, Canton, Normal U-High win nailbiters

Another round of snow impacted the Central Illinois area on Monday, but it didn’t have an ill effect on Connor Doe and Katie Doe, who led their respective Brimfield basketball teams to key wins on Monday.

The former led the Indians in capturing the Peoria Heights Thanksgiving Tournament title while Normal U-High was also a narrow winner in tournament play at the Bloomington/Normal Intercity tournament. 

Several Class 1A and Class 2A girls basketball teams came away with wins, including Canton, Eureka, Illini Bluffs and IVC.
