The Roundup, Dec. 3, 2025: Washington downs Metamora in dramatic fashion, Canton wins Fulton County Tournament

Three Mid-Illini boys basketball teams were victorious on Wednesday but none were more dramatic than Washington’s as the Panthers broke a losing streak to rival Metamora on a three in the final seconds.

Canton won the Fulton County Tournament and East Peoria and Bloomington were among other boys teams that were victorious. Elmwood was the lone area girls basketball team to earn a win.
