A new week in Central Illinois prep basketball kicked off with a healthy dose of small-school girls hoops on Monday, with several Heart of Illinois Conference teams grabbing victories.
Among them were Dee-Mack, El Paso-Gridley, Heyworth, Tremont, Tri-Valley and Eureka, the latter of which received a huge game from Skylar Knapp. Heyworth and IVC boys won as well with IVC’s Brady Read and Heyworth’s Chase Ruppert putting up strong performances to start the week.
