Saturday was one of the most full days of action in the 2025-26 winter season with a bevy of basketball games, wrestling tournaments and swim meets.
Among the long list of highlights were Peoria Christian boys winning the ICAC Tournament, plus games from the Heart of Illinois Conference Tournament and Tri-County girls conference tournament. Morton’s Paige Selke scored her 1,000th career point.
Olympia, Washington, Morton and East Peoria had strong days in boys wrestling while more than a handful of area girls teams competed in Canton. Normal U-High and Normal Community led boys swimming and diving results.
