This Saturday was quite the day of big performances in Central Illinois high school sports. Multiple key contests came down to the wire with Pekin girls and Bloomington Central Catholic boys both taking home notable wins.
Many players had career days as well, including IVC’s Alayah Nelton, who posted a triple-double, and Metamora’s Ashton Grieves. Several area wrestlers also took home crowns from weekend tournaments.
