Central Illinois proved its worth in basketball on Friday as Washington cruised to a state semifinal victory in girls basketball and four boys basketball teams won sectional titles, including Tremont and Richwoods winning in the final seconds. Morton and Manual used strong performances to win their sectional titles by double figures.
