A stormy Friday postponed many of the schedule softball regional and sectional title games back to Saturday, but Washington overcame the weather and a late deficit to win a regional plaque.

Prelim events at state for Class 2A and Class 3A boys track and field took place, with Eureka and Morton leading the way. A Dunlap tennis duo reached the state championship doubles match on Saturday after a pair of wins as well.
