The Roundup, May 25, 2026: Canton, Delavan, Midwest Central win thrillers, Olympia’s Walker throws no-hitter to begin playoffs

Memorial Day also marked the start of the IHSA baseball postseason with regional quarterfinal games getting things started.

Seven Central Illinois squads were victorious, including Canton and Midwest Central who both had walk-off hits and Delavan, who took advantage of late mishaps to also earn a walk-off win. Olympia’s Noah Walker sizzled on the mound and threw a no-hitter as well.
