Saturday marked a shining day for Central Illinois high school athletics.
10 area individuals and Metamora’s team won state track and field titles at the blue oval in Charleston, eight baseball teams won regional titles with dominant pitching performances aplenty and Metamora and Dunlap boys tennis both finished out a strong year at the state finals.
