Early season tournaments rolled on in girls basketball with Thursday featuring three matchups that pitted area teams against each other.

Peoria Notre Dame fended off an upset bid from Limestone while Manual and Tremont had strong shooting performances in victories. Other notable highlights included a big road win for Morton plus wins from Midwest Central/Delavan and Olympia.
