Morton used a last-minuted touchdown for a key Mid-Illini win, Dee-Mack handed Ridgeview/Lexington its first loss and Metamora’s Jaiduan Cranford rushed for six touchdowns to headline Week 8 of the high school football season in Central Illinois.
Olympia, Dee-Mack and Normal West all became playoff eligible and several others won key games to stay alive in the hunt, including Normal U-High and Pekin.
