The second-to-last week of the regular season in football brings a tasty slate of matchups all around Central Illinois.
The Heart of Central Illinois Conference has been tough to predict all year, and offers several great matchups, including Tremont at Eureka, Dee-Mack at Ridgeview/Lexington and Shelbyville at Tri-Valley.
In the Big 12, Peoria High heads to Bloomington in a matchup of 5-2 teams while Richwoods and Manual take on evenly-matched foes as well.
The Mid-Illini features two matchups of teams that have either clinched a playoff spot, or still have the possibility to do so and a storied rivalry between Princeville and Stark County will take place.
Clutch Sport Media will be providing a free, live broadcast of Metamora at East Peoria in our WMBD Game of the Week, which you can watch on ciproud.com. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. with pregame coverage starting at 7:15.
CSM will also have a free, live broadcast of Peoria High at Bloomington as our CSM Game of the Week, which can be watched on clutchsportsil.com. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with pregame coverage at 6:50.
Our staff has made their predictions for 16 of the top games in the area in Week 8 with their comments also listed below. Broadcasters for our broadcasted games are ineligible to pick winners for the game that they are broadcasting and will pick the winner of an extra game instead.
