Saturday featured the IHSA cross country postseason kicking off with regionals and Central Illinois fared well with many teams advancing to sectionals next week.
Dunlap finished off another fantastic season at the IHSA State Finals behind multiple top-6 placements. Peoria Christian and Normal U-High advanced to Class 1A sectional championships in boys soccer while a trio of local teams won regional championships as well. The volleyball regular season came to an end with Eureka’s Heart of Illinois Conference tournament title leading the way.
